The fellas from Unknown Mortal Orchestra have put together a special 7” release for their  tour with Grizzly Bear. The A-side is “Swim and Sleep (Like a Shark)”, which doesn’t exactly break new ground for the band, but certainly solidifies their ability to write obscenely catchy psych pop jams. Sounding like some rare bit of Nuggets-era psych pop mixed with Real Estate, this track is the perfect laid back jam for the Autumn season. It’s dreamy harmonies and light as air guitars make for a stellar listen. I’m suddenly dying to hear what the band has up their sleep for LP2.
